Yehuda Yoel Zimmerman is a musmach of Rabbi Mordechai Friedlander, Shlit"a and a chossid of the Pittsburgher Rebbe, Shlit"a. Born in the United States, he has been living in Israel for over 30 years.

He is the author of ואתה תחזה, a sefer on Chumash and Rashi (for the most part). The first volume, on Sefer Beraishis, is scheduled to be published before Rosh HaShana 5777 (September 2016). This volume is over 730 pages long (in Hebrew) and will be available in Israel and internationally.

Rabbi Zimmerman believes that if you open your eyes, You Will See wonderous things in the text of the Torah and Rashi. Hence the name of his sefer, viAto Techazeh.
